TAILOR-MADE IN HOUSE TRAINING
Deliver in-work/ in-house tailor-made courses for public servants of human rights entities (Ombudsman and others) and ministries in charge of monitoring and reporting the implementation of the conventions ratified by their countries.
International human rights instruments can come in the form of declarations, guiding principles or conventions. The latter normally requires ratification from the member state legislators. Once this ratification is done it may or may not be directly applicable. Sometimes it is necessary to adapt or develop local legislation or to make new laws. However even when that is done or even when that is not required for their formal implementation, work is often required to ensure a move from legal protection to political and social promotion. So the GCEF works on the domestication of Human Rights by offering this service.
