Field of Action: Secondary education
The Secondary Education Technical Working Group aims to support the work of secondary school teachers and formal and informal education professionals to ensure the appropriate transmission of citizenship values to children and young people between the ages of 11 and 17. Its work develops Articles 1, 2, 26, 27 and 29 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 12(1) of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The Group tackles different elements of secondary education: teaching tools and techniques; long-term program implementation; and the continued education of teachers.
