Global Citizenship Education Fund

WHO WE ARE

The Global Citizenship Education Fund (GCEF) is a foundation governed by an international trust committed to promoting the knowledge, respect, and daily exercise of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The trustees’ method is to articulate public sector entities, the private sector, academia, and civil society (PPACS) around the 30 articles of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the pacts and conventions that have transformed them into positive and binding law.

> GCEF’s FIELD OF ACTION:

We engage in Global Citizenship Education to provide the understanding, skills and values needed to cooperate in resolving the interconnected challenges of the 21st century.
FOCUS: Citizenship rights, duties and responsibilities.

HOW WE WORK

To achieve our mission, we offer three different, but complementary services: intensive courses, tailored-made courses and short- and long-term technical assistance.

Aware of the complexity of the issues related to the promotion and dissemination of human rights and fundamental freedoms, we have created an interdisciplinary Content Support Unit to ensure the quality of our services.
