28 and 29 June 2018, Barcelona. ideaborn, in collaboration with the Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat, organised at Palau de Pedralbes a regional Seminar on “Civic Education for Youth in the Mediterranean” with the objective to discuss the central role of civic and citizenship education in the current emerging challenges in the region, such as the prevention of violence, radicalisation and the promotion of gender equality. In a sequence of 5 roundtables over 2 days, 30 speakers coming from 11 different countries discussed the critical role of citizenship values education in forming responsible and engaged youth.
